In short, EFNMS works towards raising the value of maintenance and asset management, helping industries become safer, more efficient, and more sustainable.

What is EuroMaintenance?

EuroMaintenance is Europe’s leading congress and exhibition for maintenance, reliability, and asset management. Organized by EFNMS, it brings together professionals, experts, and companies from across the continent to share knowledge, explore innovations, and connect with the community. Held every two years, EuroMaintenance is the hub for anyone passionate about keeping industries running smoothly and shaping the future of maintenance.

Who is hosting EuroMaintenance 2026?

EuroMaintenance 2026 is being arranged, with the support of EFNMS, by the Division of Operation and Maintenance Engineering at Luleå University of Technology in collaboration with the Swedish Maintenance Society (Svenskt underhåll).

Operations and Maintenance Engineering at Luleå University of Technology is a pioneering, interdisciplinary field established in 2001. Over the past two decades, the division has built a strong international reputation for advancing condition monitoring, predictive technologies, and big data analytics to ensure reliable and sustainable performance in industry.

Their research environment is supported by specialized facilities, including two e-maintenance labs and a condition-based maintenance lab, where new methods and tools are developed and tested together with partners from industry. They have also launched the International Journal of System Assurance Engineering and Management, published by Springer, as part of their commitment to sharing knowledge globally.

With funding from the EU and Swedish research bodies such as VINNOVA and SSF, and through close collaborations with industries and universities worldwide, they continue to drive innovation and shape the future of smarter, more sustainable operations and maintenance.
